Rankings Data
The full numbers behind the rankings write-ups. Click a column header to sort. PF is points scored, PA is points allowed, and Net Pts is scored minus allowed. SOS is strength of schedule: the average grade of the opponents already played, and a higher number is a harder slate. Off Net is how far the offense sits from a league-average offense. Def Net is the same idea for points allowed, and a positive number means the defense has given up fewer than average.

Points scored, points allowed, and the net are real results, not a model. Strength of schedule is the average overall grade of every opponent actually faced, using the grade from the week before that game. The ranked wording lives on the rankings page; this column is the raw number. Away, division, and conference are real win-loss splits. A dash means zero games of that kind so far, not a missing number: a club whose only game was a home game outside its division, against a conference opponent, correctly shows a dash for away and for division, and a real record for conference.

Position Leaderboard
Each row is one club at that position, ranked among the clubs that have a grade this week. "6 of 32" is sixth among clubs, not sixth among individual players. The grade is a weighted average of the active players on the depth chart: each is weighted by his usual share of the snaps for this club, last season and this season so far, weighted by games. Snaps he played for another club are not in the number. The player who is on the field more for this club carries more of the grade. It is rebuilt every week, so the grades move as the snaps accumulate, and a player who is out, doubtful, on reserve, or suspended for that week is left out of that week. Questionable players stay in. What Goes Into The Overall Grade
- Offense40%80% who is on the depth chart, each counted by his usual share of the snaps, and 20% how the offense has actually played, adjusted for who it faced.
- Defense42%80% the players, 20% how the defense has actually played, adjusted for who it faced.
- Special Teams2%0% players, 100% play.
- Coaching16%The head coach's career record against the margin his own rosters' grades said he should have, steadied over 128 games. It is included because it predicted seasons it had not seen any better (0.864 vs 0.844).
Strength of schedule moves the overall grade only where it actually improved predictions of the point margin on seasons that had not been seen yet. Right now it is measured, and not counted: held-out correlation ticked up (0.867 vs 0.864) but ridge assigned SOS a weight of exactly 0 -- the other inputs absorbed the gain, SOS itself contributes nothing, so this is a null result honestly reported, not an adoption
